Preview: Spireites Take On Bohemians XI Side In Latest Friendly

Chesterfield will travel across the Irish Sea to play a Bohemians XI side at Dalymount Park in Dublin for their fifth pre-season fixture on Friday night (6pm kick off). Paul Cook’s men have had a mixed bag of fixtures and results over the course of the past three weeks as they try to finalise their starting eleven for the opening competitive fixture at Fleetwood Town next month.
The Spireites will test themselves against a side who are involved in Europe; in fact, Bohs played their UEFA Conference League 2nd Qualifying Round First Leg game against FC Ballkani of Kosovo on Wednesday night. A 2-1 victory at Dalymount Park has set the Irish side up for a possible tie with Turkish side Beşiktaş in the next round.
