Chesterfield FC Women have been drawn away from home against fellow fourth-tier side Stockport County Women in the first round (round of 32) of the FA Women's National League Cup. The match will take place on Sunday 1st November with a 2pm kick-off.

Stockport currently sit in fourth position in the FA Women's National League Division One North, with three wins and two losses from their opening five league games of the season. Chesterfield are already the only team remaining in the competition that play in the FA Women's National League Division One Midlands.

The Spireites qualified for the knockout stage as one of the 10 best runners-up teams in the group stage following an excellent 4-1 victory over Sheffield FC Women at the SMH Group Stadium last weekend.

In other news from earlier today, it's been confirmed that Chesterfield FC Women's match this weekend against Thurmaston DPC Women in the third qualifying round of the Women's FA Cup will be played at the Erwin Training Ground. This venue is located in the Hasland area of Chesterfield and it will be the first time ever that the senior women's team have played a competitive match there.

The cup tie will take place on Sunday 4th October with a 2pm kick-off. A win would see the Spireites advance to the first round proper of the tournament.
