Spireites Discover Next Opponents In Women's FA Cup

Chesterfield FC Women will travel to Hertfordshire for the first round proper of the Women's FA Cup on Sunday 25th October.

Chesterfield FC Women have been drawn away from home against fifth-tier side Harpenden Town FC Women in the first round proper of the Women's FA Cup.

Harpenden play one tier below the Spireites in the Eastern Region Women's Premier Division and currently sit in sixth place out of 12 teams in the table, following three wins and three defeats from their opening six league matches of the season.

Harpenden Town FC Women play their home games at Rothamsted Park, which is located in the Harpenden area of St Albans in Hertfordshire. The club are nicknamed the Harps.

The Spireites advanced to the first round proper of the tournament yesterday after defeating sixth-tier side Thurmaston DPC Women 10-0 at the Erwin Training Ground. Harpenden booked their spot in the first round after beating Chelmsford City Women 1-0 away from home on the same day.

This fixture is scheduled to take place on Sunday 25th October with a 2pm kick-off.
