Chesterfield will host either Yeovil Town or Leatherhead in the first round proper of the FA Cup.

Yeovil Town play one tier below the Spireites in the National League and currently sit inside the play-off places in fourth position.

Leatherhead play three tiers below Paul Cook's side in the Isthmian League Premier Division and find themselves in 13th position out of 22 teams in the league.

Chesterfield last played Yeovil Town, known as the Glovers, back in March 2023 when both clubs competed in the National League.

The Spireites have met the Somerset side once before in the FA Cup. This took place way back in the 1949/50 edition of the competition in the third round. Chesterfield won the tie 3-1 at Saltergate.

Meanwhile, Chesterfield have never played Leatherhead before in any competition. Leatherhead are based in Surrey and are known as the Tanners.

The replay between the Glovers and the Tanners will take place on Tuesday evening this week at Huish Park with a 7:45pm kick-off. Leatherhead held Yeovil Town to a surprise 3-3 draw in the initial game at Fetcham Grove last weekend.

All FA Cup first round proper ties are scheduled to take place across the weekend of Saturday 7th November.
