Talking Points: Spireites Fall Short Despite Dominant Performance

Chesterfield's six-game unbeaten run in all competitions came to an end last weekend following a 2-1 defeat to Cheltenham Town at the EV Charger Points Stadium in League Two. First-half goals from Charlie McCann and Andreas Weimann gave the Robins a two-goal lead at the interval. Louie Marsh halved the deficit for the Spireites early on in the second half but, despite the visitors' best efforts, they could not find an equaliser before the final whistle.
