Chesterfield are thought to be in the market for Shamrock Rovers winger Adam Brennan. The 19-year-old has featured heavily for the League of Ireland side since signing in January from UCD.

Following Armando Dobra’s departure in the summer transfer window, the Spireites are looking for a left-sided replacement. Brennan is a former team-mate of Chesterfield winger Dylan Duffy and can also play a wing-back role if required.

Dublin-born Brennan started his career with UCD at youth level and made his League of Ireland debut in April 2024. He scored nine goals in 33 appearances in all competitions in 2025 which attracted the attention of Hull City at the time, however Brennan chose to stay in Dublin to sign for Shamrock Rovers.
