It’s been a tough start for the Spireites this season. They haven’t yet played to their potential or managed to grab a win at home so far. After four games played in the division, Paul Cook's side occupy 16th position in League Two with four points to their name.
Let’s take a look at the talking points from Tuesday's game against Gillingham.
First Half Dominance
I don’t think that any neutral could miss the fact that the Spireites dominated this first half on Tuesday night at the SMH Group Stadium. It was one-way traffic. Chance after chance spurned or seized upon by Ollie Wright, Gillingham’s over-worked goalkeeper. Josh Koroma, Dilan Markanday and George McEachran all saw chances saved by the Southampton stopper, on loan to the Gills.
